A man was taken to Foothills Medical Centre after he was rescued from inside a burning home in the northwest Calgary community of Ranchlands.

Fortunately this fire didn't cause even more damage. The strong wind fed the flames and made it very difficult for crews. Our thoughts are with the person that was injured, and the people that lost their home and garages.
