One person was rushed to hospital after a fire broke out at a southeast Calgary duplex on Friday night.
Smoke clouded over Memorial Drive E. Saturday afternoon after a grass fire ignited near Max Bell Centre for a second consecutive day.
Five fire trucks responded to the blaze, which burned a patch of grass on the east side of Deerfoot Trail near the bike path leading to the arena, Calgary Fire Department acting battalion chief Brad Thompson said.
